Craig J Martin was born in Taunton Massachusetts and grew up in the Taunton area. Craig graduated from Providence College in 1980 and obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1983 Cum Laude. Craig began practicing law in Taunton and has been heavily involved in many charitable and civic organizations in the Taunton area, including serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way, officer of the Taunton Bar Association, selectman for the Town of Dighton Massachusetts, member of the Taunton Rotary Club and acts as general counsel to Taunton Federal Credit Union and is a corporator of Bristol County Savings Bank.
Craig opened a second office in Falmouth Massachusetts in 1997 and he and his family are now residents of East Falmouth, Massachusetts. Since moving to Cape Cod, Craig has continued his interest and involvement in charitable endeavors, including founding Cape Cod Challenger Club, Inc to assist children with physical and mental disabilities in participating in athletic and social events on the Upper Cape. Craig is also a current member of the Falmouth Rotary Club and is a member of the Board of Directors and Founders Club of Wings for Falmouth Families, Inc.
Professionally, Craig is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts and has been a lecturer for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Foundation in real estate law for attorneys in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Craig is also a member of the American and Massachusetts Bar Association and serves on the ABA's Lawyers Title Guaranty Funds Standing Committee.
Craig enjoys golf, sailing, reading, politics and spending time with his wife and two young children.
